Visit from Michelle and Adam

Our wonderful friends, Michelle and Adam, trekked across the country to meet Sophia. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. Sophia appreciated meeting new friends and loved their thoughtful gifts.

Michelle enjoyed sharing some yogurt with Sophia, right up until the time that Sophia took a face plant into a nearby plastic table. Blood flowed freely and I went into a complete panic. Colin wisely suggested we put pressure on the wound to stop the blood. Great advice, if I could have easily identified the exact location of the wound. We finally mopped up enough to see that she had pushed her teeth into her lip, causing a nasty little gash to her lower lip. She looked like she had gone a couple rounds with Mohammed Ali. Thankfully, it seems to be healing and the black and blue colors have started to fade.
