Catching up with Sophia
Homework at 2 years old?
I know, I know, I have been way behind on the blog lately. No special things going on, we've just been busy and its been too hot for me to sit in front of a computer for too long. So I thought I would catch everyone up with two posts. One devoted to Sophia photos and the other to Keenan.
Catching up with Keenan
New post on its way
No we haven't dropped off the face of the planet! We have just been really, really busy. A new post is on its' way (with lots of photos attached, I promise)!

Happy Father's Day Daddy
In honor of Father's Day, Sophia and Keenan asked if they could write today's post. With a little help from Mom, this is what they came up with.
Daddy, you are an incredible daddy. Here is our Father's Day present for you.
We think this describes you:
F=Fantastic-you are the best dad ever
A=Amusing-you make us laugh
T=Thoughtful-you are very considerate of others
H=Honorable-you follow through on what you say and are respectful of others
E=Energetic-you always find the energy to play with us, even when you are really tired
R=Responsible-you take good care of us and teach us what we need to know
Yup, that about sums it up. Happy Father's Day Daddy, we love you so much!

Strollers
This week, Donna's http://2happy.typepad.com/ family photo challenge was strollers . When we got Keenan's referral, we looked at many strollers but couldn't find a double stroller that we liked. That is, until we found this Baby Trend, Sit and Stand, XL. Keenan's infant seat easily snaps into it and Sophia can choose to stand or sit in the opposite direction (no side by side and not one behind other, so hopefully no sticking fingers in each other's eyes or kicking one another). Once Keenan is out of his car seat, he can sit forward and this stroller was the only way I managed going to California by myself with the little ones.
Potty time............
We returned home on the all nighter and it left Sophia a little delirious. But as often happens when Sophia travels, she came home and promptly did something new. Today's accomplishment came in the form of a peeing in her potty. That is a first and later we shared a Popsicle to celebrate the occasion. Sophia seemed to be quite proud of herself.
Goin' back to Cali.......
Sophia, Keenan, and I headed to Los Angeles for the group #110 reunion. Colin had to work, so it was just the three of us. Not the easiest of journeys, but I was lucky enough to have several passengers offer to help along the way.
